Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 630 Avenue C, Bayonne, New Jersey 07002, at the specified date and time. Envelopes must be conspicuously marked "Public Bid," "2025 ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS," and "To be received on Friday, June 26, 2026 at 11:00 AM." Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond, for not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid amount, not exceeding $20,000.00. This security serves as liquidated damages if the awarded bidder fails to execute the contract and provide a satisfactory performance bond within ten days.
