Additionally, responding firms must exhibit experience in the preparation of grant applications and are mandated to provide a list of past and present municipalities for which they have served as a planning consultant. Comprehensive insurance coverage is also required, including Worker’s Compensation, General Liability ($1,000,000 per occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregate), Automotive Liability ($1,000,000 per occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregate), and Professional Liability ($1,000,000 per occurrence, claims-based), with certificates naming the City as an additional insured.
Submissions will undergo a thorough evaluation process, considering factors such as adherence to general requirements, understanding of the requested work, knowledge and technical competence, management experience, personnel qualifications, demonstrated ability to complete services in a timely manner, and cost-effectiveness. Proposers must provide detailed cost proposals outlining their fee structure for services attributed to the City, as well as those payable from Developers' and Redevelopers' escrow accounts.
