Emergency Utility Repair Rates Services 2026

The Borough of Beach Haven is soliciting annual price quotes for emergency utility repair services and equipment for the year 2026. This is explicitly stated not to be a formal bid, and no bids will be awarded; rather, it is a request for pricing that the Borough may use from multiple companies throughout the year for emergency repairs of above and underground utilities, including water mains, laterals, and storm water drainage systems. The quoted rates are expected to be valid until December 31, 2026, with a possibility of extension to December 31, 2027, subject to mutual agreement. Key requirements include providing pricing for mobilization and de-mobilization, as well as daily and weekly rates for various equipment such as a Caterpillar 416 Backhoe, Front End Loader, Vibratory Trench Roller, Tractor with Street Broom, Air Compressor, Dewatering Pumps, Vermeer Jet-Vac Trailer, Single Axle Dump Truck, and Utility Truck. Additionally, vendors must submit hourly labor rates for Foreman, Operator, Pipe Layer, Driver, and Laborer. All vendors must have a W9 form and a N.J. Business Registration Certificate on file or attached with their submission. The contract may be subject to the Prevailing Wage Act and Pay to Play laws.
