The manual addresses the types of stormwater management basins existing in the Township at the time of its writing and includes inspection checklists and recommendations for routine and emergency maintenance, vegetative maintenance, trash and debris removal, and mechanical/structural component maintenance. Inspections are crucial to ensure continued proper functioning of basins, and should occur monthly for general site conditions, annually for structural/mechanical components and earthwork, biannually for vegetation, and after every major storm event for trash racks and grates.
