2026-13 Intro ORD 4-2026

The Borough of Bloomingdale is repealing and replacing its existing Chapter 12, Affordable Housing, with a new chapter to address current requirements of the Fair Housing Act and the Uniform Housing Affordability Controls (UHAC). This update is necessary to align the Borough's regulations with the recently adopted amended Fair Housing Act (FHA), Fair Housing Act Regulations, and UHAC. The ordinance was introduced on February 17, 2026, and is scheduled for final passage on March 3, 2026, at 7 PM, during an Official Meeting of the Governing Body.
