Civil Rights Policy

The Borough of Bloomingdale has established a Civil Rights Policy, as outlined in Resolution No. 2023-1.74. The policy aims to ensure that all officials, appointees, employees, prospective employees, volunteers, independent contractors, and members of the public are treated in accordance with applicable civil rights laws and regulations. The resolution establishes procedures for reporting alleged discrimination, harassment, and violations of civil rights, and mandates periodic training for officials, employees, appointees, and volunteers. The resolution was adopted on January 3, 2023.
