Sealed Bids
for the
Town of Boonton Hill Street
Slope Failure Repair
will be received by the Town of Boonton at the
Municipal Building, 100 Washington Street, Boonton, New Jersey 07005 on
June 10, 2021 at 10:00
, prevailing
time, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud
outside the Municipal Building in the Parking Lot. No Bids will be accepted
after said hour.
COVID-19 Bid Restrictions
As outlined in
Executive Order 107 and further supplemented by the NJ-DCA,
Bids shall be
accepted via certified
mail or overnight delivery or via Hand Delivery.
Hand Delivered Bids shall be accepted by APPOINTMENT
ONLY

Bids must be
placed in sealed envelopes and delivered via certified mail or by overnight
delivery or in person to the Town Clerk in the Municipal Building at 100
Washington Street, Boonton, New Jersey with the Bid description and the name
and address of the Bidder marked clearly on the outside of the envelope. No
Bids will be accepted by mail. The outside of the envelope must contain the name
and address of the Bidder and also must identify the bid as professional
services for
2019 Town of Boonton Hill
Street Slope Failure Repair.
The
project
consists
of
improvements
to
Hill
Street,
between
Highland
Avenue
and
Pine
Street.
This
includes
the
replacement
of select roadway pavement, concrete curb, retaining wall, guide rails, slope
stabilization, maintenance and protection of traffic, and site restoration.
Complementary work to furnish and install accessory materials as may be
necessary may be if and where directed items by the Owner. The contractor shall
be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, trade skills, materials,
and
equipment
required
for
this
project
as
described
in
the
Construction
Documents.
All
work
on
this
contract
must be
completed
within
one-hundred
eighty
days
(180)
calendar
days
from
issuance
of
a
Notice
to
Proceed.
The
contractor
shall be
responsible
for
providing
all
labor,
supervision,
trade
skills,
materials,
and
equipment
required
for
this
project
as
described in the
Construction Documents. The Contract will allow
180
calendar days for completion of the work from the notice
to proceed.
All necessary
bid specifications and bid forms may be secured on or after
May 25, 2021

Hard Copies of

Documents. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the order of
the Town of Boonton, or a duly executed Bid Bond, in the amount of ten percent
(10%) of each bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 must be deposited by
the Bidder together with a Surety Consent evidencing that he can obtain the
required Performance
Bond.
The successful
Bidder shall be required to deliver to the Owner an executed Performance Bond
of a responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of
New Jersey.

Sealed Bids for the Town of Boonton Hill Street Slope Failure Repair will be received by the Town of Boonton at the
Municipal Building, 100 Washington Street, Boonton, New Jersey 07005 on June 10, 2021 at 10:00, prevailing time, at
