--- Document: 02-2021 Legal Notice --- Legal Notice to Bidders Notice is hereby given by the Town of Boonton that sealed bids will be received by the Town Administrator on June 23rd, 2021 at 10:30am prevailing time in the Town Hall, 100 Washington Street, Boonton, N.J. 07005 at which time and place the sealed bids will be opened publicly and read for the following: BID #02-2021 PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT – KANOUSE STREET PARK Obtaining Bid Document: • Contract documents may be obtained only from the Office of Administrator: Town of Boonton 100 Washington Street Boonton, N.J. 07005 Attn: Neil Henry, Town Administrator, QPA nhenry@boonton.org Phone 973-402-9410 x650 Submission of Bid: All bids must be submitted on the bid proposal forms approved and provided for by the bid specifications in order to be considered. Bid proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid, but not in excess of twenty thousand ($20,000) dollars, and made payable to the Town of Boonton. Bidder Requirements: Bidder must comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Other requirements as well as those described above are fully detailed in the bid document. Bid Tabulation: Bid results will be posted on the Town website at www.boonton.org within 24 hours of the bid opening. This bid has been advertised in accordance with the "Fair and Open Basis” and nothing further shall be required under the Pay-to-Play Legislation (N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.7). Therefore, the Federal Labor Standards Provisions and Davis Bacon wage rates and reporting will apply. Attention is called to the fact that the contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their age, race, creed, color, national origin, ancestry, marital status, sex, affectional or sexual orientation and to the greatest extent possible, opportunities for training and employment shall be given to lower-income residents of the project area and that, when possible, contracts shall be awarded to business concerns owned by area residents.
