Alternate Municipal Court Prosecutor

The City of Orange Township is seeking qualifications from law firms or individuals licensed to practice law in New Jersey to serve as Alternate Municipal Prosecutor for a contract period from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024. This procurement follows the Fair and Open Process under N.J.S.A. 19:44A-1, et seq. Applicants must demonstrate significant experience in prosecuting cases in municipal courts and will be responsible for legal counsel, case preparation, prosecution, attending meetings with the police department, and other duties as directed by the Municipal Court. Candidates must comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. (Affirmative Action) and provide proof of business registration with the New Jersey Division of Taxation (P.L. 2004, C.57) before contract award.
