Alternate Municipal Court Prosecutor - 2026

The City of Orange Township is seeking qualifications from law firms or individuals licensed in New Jersey to serve as the Alternate Municipal Court Prosecutor for the contract period of January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. Applicants must have significant experience in prosecuting cases in New Jersey municipal courts and comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. Requirements include legal counsel, preparation and prosecution of cases, meetings with the Orange Police Department, and other matters as directed by the Municipal Court. Submission must include professional information, qualifications, references, insurance details, cost details and a business registration certificate. A submission checklist must be completed and submitted along with the Qualification Statements, and a Letter of Qualification and Letter of Intent must be completed and submitted.
