Auditing & Consultation Services

The City of Orange is soliciting proposals from qualified firms and individuals to provide auditing and consultant services. The selected firm will conduct an audit of the City's individual funds and account groups, perform annual single audits, review the annual budget, financial, and debt statements, and perform audits of various funds and grants. The contract term is from January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2023. Proposals are due by 11:00 A.M. on January 13, 2023, and should be submitted to the Finance Department, Room 206, at 29 North Day Street, Orange, New Jersey 07050, Attn: Adrian O. Mapp, Qualified Purchasing Agent. Submissions must be made in the form required by the specifications, including one original and five copies. The City will evaluate proposals based on qualifications, experience, knowledge of the City, relevance of similar engagements, technical qualifications, and reasonableness of cost analysis. The City reserves the right to reject any or all submissions and to waive any informalities in the process. Submitters must comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
