Bond Counsel Services 2024

The City of Orange Township is seeking qualification statements from qualified individuals and firms to provide Bond Counsel Services. The City intends to establish a pool of attorneys available to provide legal services as needed during the contract term, with one or more individuals/firms potentially being selected. If selected, the governing body will approve a resolution awarding a contract to the attorney based on an hourly rate of compensation not to exceed $150.00 and for a sum not to exceed a specified amount. Bond Counsel services include preparing bond ordinances, reviewing adoption proceedings, preparing public finance resolutions, and preparing bond anticipation and general obligation bonds. Respondents must submit their Qualification Statements by November 9, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Qualification Statements must be mailed or hand-delivered; submissions via facsimile or email will not be accepted. Selected respondents will be required to execute a form contract that includes indemnification, insurance, termination, and licensing provisions. The period of qualification for selected candidates will be from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024.
