Municipal Tax Appeal Counsel Servs. - 2024

The City of Orange Township is seeking Qualification Statements from interested firms to provide professional Municipal Tax Appeal Counsel Services. The selected firms will assist the City with legal representation in all aspects of Tax Appeals law, including preparation of pleadings, motions, discovery, and participation in settlement conferences and trials. Qualification Statements must be received by the City no later than 11:00 a.m. on November 9, 2023, and must be mailed or hand-delivered; submissions by facsimile or e-mail will not be accepted. The city intends to establish a pool of attorneys to provide services on an as-needed basis. If selected, the governing body will approve a resolution awarding a contract to the attorney based on an hourly rate of compensation not to exceed $150.00 and for a sum not to exceed a specified amount. The period of qualification is set from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024.
