Professional Budget Consultant - 2026

The City of Orange Township is seeking Qualification Statements from qualified individuals to provide professional budget consulting services for the 2026 calendar year, spanning from January 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026. Respondents must be licensed by the State of New Jersey as both a Certified Public Accountant and Registered Municipal Accountant, possessing the technical expertise and experience to conduct independent audits of municipalities within the state. The selected consultant will render opinions on the City's financial activities and procedures. The scope of work includes reviewing budget documents, analyzing revenues and appropriations, preparing budget workbooks, assessing property tax impacts, attending meetings, and providing continuous financial advisory services. Submissions must include detailed information such as experience, budgeting strategies, business structure, resumes, fee schedules, and references. Interested parties must submit one bound original, five paper copies, and a digital copy of their Qualification Statement by 1:00 PM on December 4, 2025, to the Department of Law, addressed to the City Attorney.
