Request for Qualifications-Legislative Research Officer-2024 - Revised

The City of Orange Township is seeking Qualification Statements from interested parties to provide Legislative Research Officer Services to the Orange Municipal Council. The selected candidate or firm will work under compensation terms determined by the City and the contract term will not exceed one year from the award date. Qualification Statements must demonstrate the professional, financial, and administrative capabilities to provide the services. Respondents must have at least 10 years of experience in municipal law and knowledge of Title 40 and 40A of New Jersey. An original and five copies of the Qualification Statement must be submitted by mail or hand-delivered to the City Attorney by December 7, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Facsimile or email submissions will not be accepted. The City Attorney will review Qualification Statements to determine if the Respondent has met the minimum professional, administrative, and financial requirements.
