RFP - Budget Consultant 2023

The City of Orange Township is soliciting proposals from qualified Respondents to provide budget consultant services. These services encompass a detailed review of the budget document submitted by the Administration for the 2023 calendar year, including revenue items and appropriation requirements. The selected firm will also prepare a summary budget workbook for the City Council, provide tax analysis, attend budget sessions, prepare the State budget document, and offer continuous budgetary and financial advisory services throughout 2023. Respondents must be Certified Public Accountants (CPA) and Registered Municipal Accountants (RMA) and must be qualified to perform independent audits of municipalities in New Jersey. Proposals must include a description of the respondent's qualifications and experience, demonstrating knowledge of applicable procedures, and a schedule of compensation requirements or hourly billing rates. Submissions of an original and five copies of proposals must be received no later than 1:00 PM on February 22, 2023. Proposals forwarded by facsimile or email transmissions will not be accepted; they must be mailed or hand-delivered to the Office of the Qualified Purchasing Agent.
