Per your orders, a speed study was conducted on Penn Rd. utilizing one of our Bureau's
"Speed Sentry" RADAR signs. Said study was conducted over the course of seven (7) days
from 11/21-11/27 on traffic heading westbound on Penn Rd.
The study determined the average speed on Penn was 22 mph. The 85% speed was 27 mph
and the 50% speed was 23 mph.
The study measured the speeds of 1,600 vehicles, of which 2 (.12%) were traveling above 40
mph.
The results of this study are attached for your review.
