Construction Announcements

The Town of Dover is planning several infrastructure improvement projects. These include the Brook Lane Bridge Replacement, which involves replacing an existing one-lane bridge over Jackson Brook. The "2021 Water System Improvements" project focuses on upgrading the water main within specific sections of West Clinton Street and Parker Street. Additionally, the "Small Cities Road" project will address roadway and drainage improvements on Bowlby Street, Grace Street, Sickle Street, and Leonard Street, including milling and paving, and the installation of curbs, sidewalks, and drainage pipes. Survey and design services have been contracted to Pennoni Associates for these projects, with construction for the water system improvements scheduled for July 2023 and small cities road improvements commencing in July 2023 and expected to conclude by September 2023. The Brook Lane Bridge Replacement is anticipated to begin in Spring 2024. Residents will be notified of specific schedules and potential disruptions.
