Township of Eagleswood Public Works Information
Trash and Recycling
• Regular Curbside Trash Pickup: Place township approved bin at curb after 6:00 pm Mon. & before 5:00 am Tues.
	
—In the event of Holiday or inclement weather, trash will be collected on the following day,
• Regular Curbside Recyclables: Place township approved blue container at curb after 6:00 pm Tues. & before 5:00 am Wed.
	
—In the event of Holiday or inclement weather, recyclables will be collected the following week.
Trash and Recycling Do’s and Don’t’s
• Trash & Recyclables must be placed curbside in 30 gallon containers with lids, handles and appropriate drainage.  
Cans may not weigh more than 40 lbs filled and a maximum of six (6) cans will be permitted for collection per week.
• Recyclables must not be commingled with plastic bags or trash!

Brush & Leaves
• Yard waste must be set out in prepared bundles, not to exceed 4 feet in length, 2 feet in diameter and not to exceed  
40 pounds in weight. No individual branches may exceed 4 inches in diameter.
• Maximum of 6 cans or 12 bags.
• Leaves should be contained in bags or cans not exceeding forty (40 pounds). 
Pickup is on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month.
Bulk Non-Recyclable Trash Collection
• One (1) to two (2) items per weekly pick-up are permitted and may include: mattresses, furniture or carpeting.  
(Please note that carpet must be cut into 4-foot lengths and tied.)
• Eagleswood Twp is NOT responsible for collection of construction/demolition debris. (Ordinance 2010-01)
Recycling Tips
• The following items will not be eligible for collection by the Township of Eagleswood: Electronics (computers,  
printers, TV’s, VCR’s, DVD players, stereo components & copiers), Fluorescent Light Bulbs, Rechargeable Batteries, 
Motor Oil (no gas or water mixture). These items must be taken to the:

• Recycling of Refrigerators, Air Conditioners and Propane Tanks are subject to a $12 Collection Fee to be paid at  
the Municipal Building during regular working hours.
• Recyclable Items Include: Plastic Bottles, Glass Jars & Bottles, Aluminum/Steel/Tin Cans, Cardboard/Newspaper,  
Paper/Books, Junk Mail. (NOTE: Recyclables may not be placed in plastic bags!)
• Non-Recyclable Items Include: Pizza Boxes, Plates, Glasses, Pots & Pans, Alkaline Batteries, Window Glass/Auto
