Programming Partner Services Request for Proposal Evaluation Report
One RFP was received from Pro Skate LLC. The Township’s evaluation team evaluated
the RFP based on the Programming Proposal (hockey programs, ice time rental hours,
variety of programming, etc.), Programming Experience, Proposed Rental Fees/Revenue
Offered and Financial Capability  
Pro Skate LLC scored well among the four evaluators. The vendor has proposed potential
for an amount of revenue to the Ice Arena that would positively impact on the facility. In
addition, the variety and experience of ice hockey programming is of interest to the Ice
Arena as a brand-new facility. Pro Skate LLC. Is a subsidiary of Black Bear enterprises
which owns approximately 40 Ice Arenas in the Northeastern portion of the United States,
and they are well known in the region for providing ice hockey opportunities to youth. 
Based on the above, the evaluation team recommends the award of a license agreement
with Pro Skate LLC to become the programming partner with the East Brunswick Ice
Arena based on negotiated conditions within the agreement and proposed programming.
