Sealed proposals for these vital hauling and disposal services must be submitted exclusively via the City of East Orange’s electronic procurement portal (https://procurement.opengov.com/governments/10682973/projects/229801/manage). The absolute deadline for proposal submission is Thursday, March 5, 2026, at 11:00 A.M., prevailing local time; late submissions will be automatically rejected by the E-Procurement system. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Proposal Guarantee, which can be a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or a Satisfactory Bid Bond, valued at 10% (ten percent) of the bid for one year, not to exceed $20,000.00. This guarantee must be made payable to the City of East Orange, NJ. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a purchase order. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids due to defects or non-adherence to specifications, waive informalities, or accept any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the City. They also reserve the right to sever and make awards of all or parts of any bids to one or more contractors.
