CITY-WIDE RECREATIONAL APPAREL BID

The City of East Orange, New Jersey, is soliciting bids for City-Wide Recreational Apparel to supply a diverse range of clothing items for numerous municipal events, activities, and programs throughout the year. The comprehensive scope of work includes the provision of Polo shirts, T-shirts, long-sleeved Polo shirts, long-sleeved Sweatshirts, Dry-Fit shirts (short and long-sleeved, collar and button-up), light spring weight and insulated winter weight Windbreaker Jackets, and various Head Gear such as baseball caps, skully caps, and sun visors. The contract will be awarded for an initial term of one (1) year, with the option for the City to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year terms, potentially totaling three (3) years. Prospective contractors must demonstrate compliance with various New Jersey statutory and administrative requirements. Key qualifications include adherence to N.J.S.A. 34-11-56.25 regarding public works wages, the Equal Employment Opportunity Act (N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 and N.J.A.C. 17:27 Affirmative Action), and N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2 for stockholder disclosure (10% or more ownership).
