Sealed proposals, presented in quadruplicate on the City-provided Proposal Forms, must be hand-delivered to the Council Chambers at East Orange City Hall. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or a Satisfactory Bid Bond, amounting to 10% of the Total Bid for one year, not to exceed $20,000.00, made payable to the City of East Orange, NJ. A Consent of Surety in the principal sum of 100% of the contract amount is also mandatory. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a one-year Performance Bond for 100% of the awarded price.
