Resurfacing of Parking Lot at 229 No. Munn Ave.

The City of East Orange, New Jersey, is soliciting sealed bids for the resurfacing of the parking lot located at 229 No. Munn Ave. This public works project encompasses a comprehensive scope of work designed to restore and improve the parking facility. Key elements of the project include milling the existing pavement to an average depth of 2 inches, applying a 2-inch thick Superpave H.M.A. 9.5 M 64 surface course, and constructing new 6-inch thick concrete apron and sidewalks. Additionally, the project requires the installation of concrete wheel stops, durable long-life epoxy resin traffic stripes and symbols, and various signs. Sealed proposals for this project must be hand-delivered only to the Council Chambers at East Orange City Hall on Tuesday, September 13th, 2022, by 11:30 a.m. local prevailing time, at which point they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids must be presented in quadruplicate using the official Proposal Forms provided, with bids not on these forms subject to rejection. A non-refundable fee of $75.00 is required for bid packets picked up on-site, payable to the City of East Orange. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for 100% of the awarded price, valid for one year, and execute the contract within twenty-one days of award.
