W.O.R.P.S. (WHITE OAK RIDGE PUMPING STATION) DISINFECTION SYSTEM CONVERSION PROJECT

The City of East Orange, New Jersey, through its Division of Procurement, is soliciting sealed proposals for the W.O.R.P.S. (WHITE OAK RIDGE PUMPING STATION) DISINFECTION SYSTEM CONVERSION PROJECT. This re-advertised invitation to bid seeks qualified contractors to undertake the comprehensive conversion of the disinfection system at the White Oak Ridge Pumping Station. The project scope encompasses all necessary civil, mechanical, and electrical works required to replace or upgrade the existing disinfection infrastructure, ensuring compliance with current environmental and public health standards. Additionally, all proposals must include a Statement of Bidders Qualifications, a Qualification Affidavit, and proof of compliance with the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act (Chapter 150 of the Laws of 1963), the Equal Employment Opportunity Act, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. regarding Affirmative Action, and P.L. 1977 C33 concerning stockholder disclosure. Sealed proposals are to be submitted in quadruplicate on the provided Proposal Forms and will be publicly opened and read aloud by the East Orange Purchasing Agent on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. prevailing local time, in the Municipal Council Chamber at East Orange City Hall. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Proposal Guarantee in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or Satisfactory Bid Bond, equaling 10% of the bid amount, not to exceed $20,000, made payable to the City of East Orange, NJ.
