Cost Estimating Services (Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes Grant Program)

The City of East Orange is actively soliciting proposals for highly specialized Cost Estimating Services to support its Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Homes Grant Program. This initiative aims to provide essential services to residents of the City of East Orange, focusing on mitigating lead hazards and promoting healthier living environments. The selected contractor will be responsible for furnishing comprehensive cost estimates crucial for the successful execution of the grant program, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and efficient allocation of program resources. Prospective contractors must demonstrate specific qualifications, primarily being certified as Lead Abatement Contractors by the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (N.J.D.C.A.) in accordance with N.J.A.C. 5:17. All professional service contractors are also required to comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-33 et seq. (Affirmative Action), N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq.
