BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) EMERGENCY AMBULANCE SERVICES

The City of East Orange, New Jersey, is soliciting competitive proposals for comprehensive Basic Life Support (BLS) Emergency Ambulance Services to serve its residents. This critical procurement seeks a qualified and reliable vendor capable of providing 24/7/365 continuous emergency medical response and transport throughout the municipality. The extensive scope of work includes all facets of BLS care, from timely dispatch and on-scene patient assessment to emergency treatment and safe transportation to appropriate medical facilities, all in strict adherence to New Jersey’s health and safety regulations. The successful contractor will be bound by a contract that meticulously details requirements for service delivery, payment terms, indemnification, insurance coverage, and compliance with all applicable licensing provisions. Prospective contractors are mandated to comply with numerous New Jersey statutory requirements, including Public Laws of 1975 C#127 concerning Affirmative Action (N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. Seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1.1 et. Seq.), and Public Laws of 1977 C#33 requiring the disclosure of company ownership exceeding 10%.
