ENGINEERING, ARCHITECTURAL AND SURVEYING CONSULTANT SERVICES

The City of East Orange, situated in Essex County, New Jersey, is actively soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for comprehensive professional services encompassing general engineering, architectural consulting, and surveying. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) seeks highly experienced firms capable of providing a broad spectrum of services, with a core emphasis on civil engineering, architectural design, environmental assessments, geotechnical studies, mechanical and electrical engineering, landscape architecture, structural engineering, and precise surveying services. The extensive scope of work includes the investigation, design, construction oversight, and maintenance of critical public infrastructure projects such as municipal buildings, roads, parks, public utility systems (water and sewer), and recreational facilities. Additionally, the selected consultant will be instrumental in traffic engineering, pavement management, stormwater management, municipal land use planning, public contracts law compliance, and providing general technical and administrative support as the City Engineer. Specific project examples range from skateboard park and municipal pool design to firehouse planning, environmental remediation, and GIS technology integration, highlighting the diverse needs of East Orange.
