NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A CONTRACT UNDER A NATIONAL 
COOPERATIVE PURCHASING AGREEMENT WITH SOURCEWELL 
COOPERATIVE PURCHASING 
Notice is hereby given that the Township of Freehold County of Monmouth, State of New 
Jersey, intends to participate in the contract awarded to Caterpillar Inc, Contract 011723-CAT, 
Maturity date is April 17, 2027 to receive services for: 
440 Backhoe Loader, CB1.8 Asphalt Compactor and a Slab Weight  - Solicitation Number: RFP 
011723 
Information regarding the contract may be found at the Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing 
website at  https://www.sourcewell-mn.gov/cooperative-purchasing/011723-cat  
The Township of Freehold anticipates joining the contract on September 16, 2025. 
It is the intent of the Township of Freehold to make a contract award to Caterpillar Inc., 100 NE 
Adams Street, Peoria, IL 61629 pursuant to the proposal submitted in response to the Sourcewell 
Cooperative Purchasing request for proposals. 
The Township of Freehold is permitted to join national cooperative purchasing agreements under 
the authority of N.J.S.A 52:34-6.2(b)(3). 
Opportunity to comment on this purchase shall begin upon publication of this notice and end ten 
(10) days thereafter. 
The contract period shall commence upon the issuance of a purchase order.
