Notice to Bidders Hampton Drive Culvert Replacement

The Township of Freehold is seeking sealed bids for the Hampton Drive Culvert Replacement project. This involves replacing the existing culvert with a new Elliptical Concrete Pipe, constructing new headwalls, installing gabion slope protection, and making associated pavement and concrete repairs. The project must be completed within 60 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. Bid packets are due on September 13, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the Freehold Township Municipal Building. Interested bidders can obtain Contract Documents and Plans electronically or at the office of T&M Associates. A non-refundable charge of $25.00 is required for electronic documents and $100.00 for hard copies. Bid packets must include a Statement of Consent of Surety and a Bid Bond or Certified Check for 10% of the total bid price (not exceeding $20,000.00). The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds for the full amount of the project. The Township of Freehold intends to award the project to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder and reserves the right to reject any and all bid packets. Bids will be irrevocable for 60 days after opening.
