TOWNSHIP OF FREEHOLD 
NOTICE TO BIDDERS 
 
 
Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Township Purchasing Agent for 
the Township of Freehold, County of Monmouth, State of New Jersey on FRIDAY, 
SEPTEMBER 13, 2024 AT 10:00 AM local prevailing time at the Municipal Building,  
1 Municipal Plaza, Freehold, New Jersey at which time and place bids will be opened and read in 
public for the following bid: 
 
2024 MICHAEL J. TIGHE PARK HOCKEY RINK IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT which 
includes but is not limited to demolition and removal of two (2) existing hockey rink 
systems, installation of one (1) new hockey rink system inclusive of inline tile flooring, 
concrete sidewalk removal and replacement and minor drainage improvements.  All 
proposed work is located at Michael J. Tighe Park at 116 Jackson Mills Road, Freehold 
Township, New Jersey 07728. 
 
Specifications and other bid information may be obtained at the office of the Freehold Township 
Purchasing Agent, One Municipal Plaza, Freehold, N.J., during regular business hours 8:30 am – 
4:30 pm. for a non-refundable fee of $120.00 for will be required for each set of specifications. Bids 
must be made on the proposal forms included with the bid specification, be enclosed in a sealed 
package bearing the name and address of the bidder and “Bid Title, Name and Contract” on the 
outside, addressed to the Purchasing Agent at the address above. 
 
Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L.1975, c.127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et 
seq.), N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq.; N.J.S.A. 19:44-20.5 et seq. The bid award will be made to the 
lowest possible bidder in accordance with applicable law.
