Notice to Bidders - Raceway Mall Water Storage Tank Rehabilitation

The Township of Freehold is soliciting sealed bids for the Raceway Mall Water Storage Tank Rehabilitation project, Contract No. 24-12. The project entails furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for the rehabilitation of the existing 3-million-gallon Raceway Mall water storage tank. Work includes removing and preparing the tank's interior and exterior coating systems, blasting, managing debris and lead hazards, making minor tank repairs, and applying high-performance coating systems. Testing, restoration, and cleanup are also required. The work is located at the Raceway Mall Water Storage Tank site along Trotters Way in Freehold Township, NJ and the project must be completed within 120 consecutive calendar days, with substantial completion within 90 consecutive calendar days of the Contractor’s receipt of written Notice to Proceed. Bid security is required in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check made payable to the Township of Freehold, amounting to 10% of the total bid, not exceeding $20,000. A Certificate of Surety from a New Jersey-licensed surety company is also required. Bidders must use the prepared bid form included in the Contract Documents. Hardcopies are available for pickup at the Office of the Engineer, French & Parrello Associates, 1800 Route 34, Suite 101, Wall Township, NJ 07719 upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $75.00 for each set of specifications and drawings. Bid documents cannot be obtained at the Township of Freehold Municipal Building.
