Notice to Bidders - Request for Proposals- Grass Cutting and Related Maintenance

The Township of Freehold is soliciting sealed proposals for Grass Cutting and Related Maintenance services through a competitive contracting process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4.1(l). This Request for Proposals (RFP) is being conducted as a "fair and open" process pursuant to N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.4, et seq., with the contract to be awarded to the proposer most advantageous to the Township, considering price and other factors outlined in the RFP. Proposals must be submitted to the Township Purchasing Agent at the Municipal Building, One Municipal Plaza, Freehold, New Jersey. The official deadline for receipt of proposals is Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. local prevailing time, at which point bids will be publicly opened. Proposers must ensure their submissions comply with relevant New Jersey statutes including N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq., N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq., and N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48. Interested parties can obtain RFP requirements and other bid information from the office of the Freehold Township Purchasing Agent during regular business hours (8:30 AM – 4:30 PM). The Township reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, waive irregularities, and award the contract at its sole discretion.
