Notice to Bidders - Route 9 South and Schanck Road Sanitary Sewer

The Township of Freehold is seeking sealed bids for the Route 9 South & Schanck Road and Medford Easement Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation project, Contract No. 24-10. The project involves rehabilitating existing sanitary sewers by lining with cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining, and existing sanitary manholes lining, inclusive of traffic control, site clean-up, and restoration work. Work must be completed within 90 consecutive calendar days of the Contractor’s receipt of written Notice to Proceed. Substantial completion of work shall be within 80 consecutive calendars days of the Contractor’s receipt of written Notice to Proceed. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the Administration Building, Room 114, 1 Municipal Plaza, Freehold, New Jersey 07728. The bid must include bid security in the form of a bid bond, cashier's check, or a certified check made payable to the Township of Freehold in an amount equal to 10% of the amount of the total bid, but not exceeding $20,000. Prospective bidders can obtain the contract documents by requesting a PDF copy via email from Mr. David Espejo, PE, or by picking up hardcopies at French & Parrello Associates for a non-refundable fee of $75.00. Bids will be received until December 10, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time. Bidders are required to comply with all relevant Federal and State Statutes, Rules and Regulations including but not limited to the applicable provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. The successful bidder will be required to submit bonds and proof of insurance on or before execution of their respective Contracts as explained in the Contract Documents.
