Description:
Sealed bids will be received for the following: services and/or materials, which are to be
supplied during the contract period beginning September 1, 2025, and ending August 31, 2026. However, the Township reserves the right to extend the contract to two (2) years.

SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAY APRONS AND CURBS
Constructing and removing Concrete Sidewalks and/or Concrete Driveway Aprons, 4" and 6"
thick, and constructing and removing Granite Block Curb or Concrete Curb, if and where
required.
BID NO.15
STORM SEWER INLETS AND MANHOLES
Constructing and/or reconstructing Storm Sewer Inlets, Type B and E, and Standard Storm
Manholes and installing 15" diameter reinforced concrete pipe (R.C.P.) complete and in place, if
and where required.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Bid Committee of the
Township of Hanover, County of Morris, State of New Jersey, at a meeting to be held TUESDAY, AUGUST 5, 2025, AT 11:00 A.M. prevailing time, at the Township of Hanover's Municipal Campus, Main Public Meeting Room, 1000 Route 10, Whippany (at the intersection of North Jefferson Road and Route 10 westbound in said Township. BIDS DELIVERED BY MAIL OR OTHER FORM OF DELIVERY (FOR EXAMPLE, FED EX. UPS, etc. WILL BE
ACCEPTED. NO BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE HOUR STATED ABOVE.
Each bid must be made on standard proposal forms; furnished by the Township of Hanover, in
the manner designated thereon, and must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, bearing the name and
address of the bidder, the bid number and title and shall be addressed to:

The successful bidder or bidders will be required to execute the contract within ten (10) days

The successful bidder or bidders will be required to execute the contract within ten (10) days after the awarding of the contract.
Bidders and the lowest responsible bidder awarded a contract for the services described in this notice are required to comply with the following State Statutes:
1.Local Public Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. seq.
2.Prevailing Wage Rates, Chapter 150, L. 1963 (NJSA 34:11-56 et.seq.)
3.Mandatory Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Language pursuant to N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
4."The Public Works Contractor Registration Act" (P.L. 1999, c.238).
5."State of New Jersey Business Registration Certificate" P.L. 2004 c.57, issued by the State of New Jersey, Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue.
6.The New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission -"Pay-to-Play" Disclosure Legislation (N.J.A.C. 19:25-26).

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by the Bid Committee of the
Township of Hanover, County of Morris, State of New Jersey, at a meeting to be held on
TUESDAY AUGUST 5, 2025, AT 11:00 A.M., prevailing time at the Township of Hanover's
Municipal Campus, Main Public Meeting Room, 1000 Route 10, Whippany, NJ ( at the intersection
of North Jefferson Road & Route 10 westbound) in said Township. BIDS DELIVERED BY
MAIL OR ANY OTHER FORM OF DELIVERY {FOR EXAMPLE, FED EX, UPS, ETC.
WILL BE ACCEPTED. NO BIDS WILL BE RECEIVED AFTER THE HOUR STATED
ABOVE.
