Collection of Type 10 & Type 13 Solid Waste, Recyclables, Yard Waste & Leaves

The Borough of Hawthorne is soliciting sealed bids for the Collection of Type 10 and Type 13 Solid Waste, Recyclables, Yard Waste and Leaves. Bids are due January 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Specifications and bid forms are available at the Borough Clerk’s Office for a cost of $50.00. An optional pre-bid conference will be held on December 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Municipal Building. Bids must be submitted with a bid guarantee of 10% of the proposal or $20,000.00, whichever is less, along with other required documents. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
