Hawthorne Avenue, Westervelt Avenue, North Watchung Avenue And Grandview Avenue

The Borough of Hawthorne, NJ is soliciting bids for milling and resurfacing various streets: Hawthorne Avenue, Westervelt Avenue, North Watchung Avenue, and Grandview Avenue. The project includes multiple base bids for different sections of roadways, including ancillary drainage improvements, ADA curb ramps, curb reconstruction, and the installation of traffic stripes, markings, tree removal, root pruning and regulatory and warning signs. The project is divided into base bids funded by NJDOT and resident assessments, as well as alternate bids funded by the borough and resident assessments. Bids must be submitted to the Borough Clerk's Office by July 2, 2025, at 11:00 AM. A bid bond of 10% of the bid amount (not to exceed $20,000) is required, and the successful bidder must provide a performance and payment bond for 100% of the accepted bid amount.
