This Addendum # 1 dated October 1, 2021 is issued to modify the above mentioned BID and is hereby made part of the BID documents. Please attach this Addendum #1 to the original documents in your possession and ensure same is included in your proposal. This addendum includes:

Question and answer
Q1: On page 22, it asks for submitting 4 items. Is this at the time of the bid opening or after award? For example, does a contractor need to be certified prior to bid opening?
‍
A1: The contractor can be a certified installer after bid award but must be prior to contract execution.
‍
Q2: Exhibit A in the bid package shows a Iron Tree Guard in the pits.  Is this something we are supposed to supply?  I don’t see it listed in the specifications.
A2: Tree guards are not included in this contract.
‍
Q3: There is no bid bond required, correct? A3: No bid bond required. Submission deadline has been changed to October 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm prevailing
time.
‍
RFI submission is closed on October 1, 2021.
‍
The complete addendum is posted on the City of Hoboken website to ensure compliance. There are no other changes to the BID documents as part of this addendum.
