Please attach this Addendum #2 to the original documents in your possession and ensure same is included in your proposal. This addendum includes: Question and answer Q1: Can you kindly respond to my question: "References and Vendor Qualifications" Can you confirm if this is needed or missing? A1: Bidders need to complete the forms provided in the bid specifications. If forms were missing, they cannot be completed. In this case, the “References & Vendor Qualifications” must be submitted by the bidder. Q2: Are we supposed to go by the quantity’s on page 21 & 22 or the qty’s on page 30, they are different? A2: As noted on pg. 30, This will be an open-ended contract, defined as a contract for which price bids were solicited on a unit basis because exact quantities needed were not known at the time bids were sought. Open-ended contracts, when advertised and awarded, must include a minimum and a maximum number of units that can be ordered for each item under the contract. Zero is an acceptable minimum. Orders placed under such open-end contracts shall not be considered as change orders. Exact quantities/number of trees for each species size are not known at this time. The City shall order the number of trees as needed to complete the project in accordance with the funds allocated. The minimum number for each bid item is zero (0). Q3: The (2) Flexi Pave pits are included in the total qty of “Pits to be Opened” but the Flexi Pave pits are going to cost more than the regular pits. Shouldn’t there be a separate line item price for the (2) Flexi Pave pits? A3: See attached for an updated bid proposal form. Q4: Page 31 (Price Sheet), is asking for unit prices for items 1-7 and then it asks for a Lump Sum price at the bottom. What qty’s are we supposed to use to get the lump sum price? This is also related to question #1 above. A4: As this is an open-ended contract and exact quantities are not known at this time, the base bid total lump sum should be the total of each unit price (i.e., add line items 1-8). Submission deadline remains the same- October 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm prevailing time. RFI submission has been closed on October 1, 2021. The complete addendum is posted on the City of Hoboken website to ensure compliance. There are no other changes to the BID documents as part of this addendum.
