BID 24-04 - UNION DRY DOCK BUILDING DEMOLITION

This Addendum # 1 dated May 8, 2024, is issued to modify the above-mentioned BID, and is hereby made part of the BID documents. Please attach this Addendum #1 to the original documents in your possession and ensure same is included in your proposal. This addendum includes:

Q1. Please confirm that there are no pile removal on this project.
A1. There will be no pile removal on this project. We do not expect piles to be discovered during demolition, but if they are, they will be required to be demolished 3’ below grade.
‍
Q2. Please clarify the exact requirements under specification section 022600 “Excavation Support and Projection” as we are only to excavate and remove foundations to depth of 3’-0”.
A2. There will be no need for excavation support on this project unless the Contractor decides to excavate more than 5’ below grade.
‍
This addendum is posted on the City of Hoboken website to ensure compliance. The City will not accept any further RFI/questions at this time.
‍
There are no other changes to the BID documents as part of this addendum.
