ADDENDUM TO BID DOCUMENTS
BID 25-04 – ENGINE COMPANY NO. 2 – STRUCTURAL REPAIRS
This Addendum # 1, dated May 20, 2025, is issued to modify the above-mentioned BID, and is hereby made part of the BID documents. Please attach this Addendum #1 to the original documents in your possession, Acknowledgement of Receipt of Addenda, of the Bidder Checklist of Mandatory Forms & Required Documents is completed.
This addendum includes:
CLARIFICATIONS:
1. Contract article 1.7.13 Permits, Fees and Notices states “The Contractor shall obtain and pay for the building permit”; please confirm that permit fees are waived.
a. Response: Yes, City building permit fees are waived as this is a City project.
2. Please confirm all work will be done during normal work hours.
a. Response: Yes, work is anticipated to be done during normal work hours in
accordance with the City's Noise Ordinance. The selected contractor may
submit a request for a Noise Ordinance Waiver to conduct work outside of the
permitted times and dates subject to City Council review and approval.
3. Are there any requirements for the type of labor used: Union, PLA, Prevailing Wage,
Merit Shop?
a. Response: The successful bidder will be required to comply with all provisions
of prevailing wage rates as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor.

CHANGES TO DRAWINGS:
1. NONE
This addendum is posted on the City of Hoboken website to ensure compliance.
There are no other changes to the BID documents as of this addendum.
