MARITIME PARK PHASE 1 IMPROVEMENTS
HUDSON COUNTY, NEW JERSEY
The City of Hoboken City Council will hold a Public Hearing on this project in the Council Chambers at Hoboken City Hall,94 Washington Street, Hoboken, NJ at 7:00 p.m. during its regular meeting on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. The project is located at 901 Sinatra Drive,(Block 259, Lot 1) and a portion of 9 Castle Point Terrace (Block 259, Lot 2) in Hoboken, New Jersey (Hudson County) near the intersection of Sinatra Drive and Sinatra Drive North. The City of Hoboken is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for the construction of Maritime Park Phase 1 Improvements.
The City of Hoboken proposes to construct an improved and expanded skate park, a pedestrian plaza, improvement to the Hudson River Waterfront Walkway, and a living shoreline as Phase 1 of Maritime Park. A concept plan showing the proposed changes, a preliminary cost estimate, and an environmental impact assessment for the project can be found at: hobokennj.gov/maritimepark.
The public is invited to submit verbal comment on the change in use during the public hearing. Alternatively, written comment may be submitted to Hoboken City Hall at 94 Washington Street, Hoboken, New Jersey attn: Department of Climate Action and Innovation.
