NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF HOBOKEN
TOM OLIVIERI PARK IMPROVEMENTS
HUDSON COUNTY, NEW JERSEY
The City of Hoboken City Council will hold a Public Hearing on this project in the Council Chambers at Hoboken City Hall, 94 Washington Street, Hoboken, NJ at 7:00 p.m. during its regular meeting on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. The project is located at 1221 Willow Ave (Block 174.01, Lot 11) in Hoboken, New Jersey (Hudson County) near the intersection of Willow Avenue and 12th Street. The City of Hoboken is seeking funding through the State of NJ Green Acres Program for improvements at Tom Olivieri Park.
The City of Hoboken proposes to construct an inclusive playground, a Portland Loo public restroom, renovations to the spray park, as well as improvements to the park’s landscaping, paving, lighting, and furnishings. A concept plan showing the proposed changes, a preliminary cost estimate, and an environmental impact assessment for the project can be found at: hobokennj.gov/tomolivieripark.
The public is invited to submit verbal comment on the change in use during the public hearing. Alternatively, written comment may be submitted to Hoboken City Hall at 94 Washington Street, Hoboken, New Jersey attn: Department of Climate Action and Innovation.
