Compton Gobel Trail Phase II Project

The Township of Jefferson is seeking sealed bids for the Compton Gobel Trail Phase II Project, Contract No. REC-26-01. The project includes furnishing all labor, material, and equipment necessary to complete the work outlined in the specifications prepared by Greenman-Pedersen, Inc. Specifications and proposal forms are available from the Purchasing Department for a non-refundable fee of $50.00, with an additional $15.00 for postage and handling via USPS, or free by emailing a request to CFett@jeffersontownship.net. UNLOCK Bids must be submitted on the standard Proposal form, enclosed in a sealed envelope, and accompanied by a Certified Check, Bid Bond, or Cashier's Check for ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid, not exceeding $20,000.00. The signed Proposal forms and bid security must be delivered to the Purchasing Department at 1033 Weldon Road, Lake Hopatcong, New Jersey 07849 by the closing date. The deadline for bid submissions is May 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM prevailing time. Bidders must comply with Affirmative Action Regulations and Stockholder’s Disclosure Regulations. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to make awards to the bidder(s) who, in its judgment, submit the most advantageous bid. The accepted bidder must sign the contract within ten (10) days after the Notice of Award or forfeit the bid security.
