RFP - 2024 Borough Auditor

The Borough of Kenilworth is seeking proposals from qualified vendors for the provision of Borough Auditor services for the 2024 contract period, commencing no sooner than January 1, 2024, and terminating no later than December 31, 2024. Key responsibilities include performing the annual audit, reviewing the annual budget and financial statements, auditing the Deferred Compensation Plan and Trust and Escrow Funds, and responding to financial inquiries. Proposals must be submitted by Friday, December 1, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. to the Qualified Purchasing Agent, Martha Lopez, RMC, QPA, at Kenilworth Borough Hall. Vendors must possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience as an auditor, with at least ten (10) years servicing governmental entities. They must also be a Certified Public Accountant and a Registered Municipal Accountant. The selection criteria include meeting the minimum vendor requirements, qualifications of personnel, experience, ability to perform services in a timely manner, and cost considerations. The Borough reserves the right to reject all proposals or to award submissions on a "service by service" or "per project" basis.
