RFP - 2024 Borough Labor Attorney

The Borough of Kenilworth is soliciting proposals from qualified individuals and firms for the provision of professional services as a Labor Attorney for the 2024 contract period. The selected firm will provide review and advice regarding personnel policies, represent the Borough in disciplinary hearings and before third-party review boards, and assist with collective bargaining negotiations. Proposals must be submitted by Friday, December 1, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. and should include information on qualifications, experience, references, and cost details. The contract period will commence no sooner than January 1, 2024, and terminate no later than December 31, 2024. Minimum qualifications include ten years of experience providing labor/personnel services as a licensed attorney in New Jersey, with at least five years of experience servicing municipalities. The Borough of Kenilworth intends to qualify person(s) and/or firm(s) that possess the professional, financial and administrative capabilities to provide the proposed services, and (2) comply with the terms and conditions determined by the municipality to provide the greatest benefit to the taxpayers, and operational efficiencies of the Borough of Kenilworth. All proposals must be submitted in a sealed package bearing the name and address of the vendor and labeled “2024 Labor Attorney”.
