Sidewalk Replacement - Phase 5

The Borough of Kenilworth is seeking sealed proposals for the Sidewalk Replacement - Phase 5 project. The project involves sidewalk replacement on the south side of the Boulevard from S 23rd Street to S 24th Street in Kenilworth, Union County, New Jersey. The work generally consists of removal concrete paver sidewalks, removal of street trees, installation of colored scored concrete sidewalk, reconstruction of building steps, reconstruction of handicap ramps, new flagpole, relocation of amenities, and new street trees. Bid documents can be obtained in electronic format by emailing a request to Anthony Gallerano, PE, PP, starting September 26, 2024. All questions regarding the bid must be submitted in writing to Anthony Gallerano, PE, PP. Bids will be received until 11:00 a.m. prevailing time on October 10, 2024 and opened publicly in the Council Chambers at 567 Boulevard, Kenilworth, NJ. Bidders must comply with various state and federal regulations, including P.L. 2004, c. 57, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act, and others. A bid security of not less than 10% of the bid (up to $20,000) is required. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract.
