Notice of intent to award contract under a national cooperative purchasing agreement

The Township of Kingwood intends to award a contract for a dump truck body and plow for a Western Star 47X truck by participating in the Sourcewell cooperative purchasing agreement. This procurement will be made under Sourcewell contract #19013. The Sourcewell contract term is from August 27, 2024, to July 9, 2028. The anticipated awardee is Robert M. Hoover & Sons, Inc., based on their response to a Sourcewell national co-op competitive Request for Bid. The Township is authorized to participate in such agreements under N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2(b)(3). A comment period is open until May 7, 2026.
