NJ Register Ready - Emergency Preparedness

Register Ready is a free, secure, voluntary database created to aid emergency managers and first responders in planning for and assisting individuals with disabilities and access and functional needs (DAFN). The program encourages registration for permanent and seasonal New Jersey residents with DAFN who may require assistance during evacuations, sheltering, or other emergency situations, including individuals with temporary disabilities or serious medical conditions. Interested individuals can register themselves or have someone register on their behalf if they have a physical, developmental, cognitive, or behavioral impairment. Registration can be completed at www.registerready.nj.gov, via telephone at 2-1-1 (within NJ) or 877-652-1148 UNLOCK (toll-free), or by contacting County Offices of Emergency Management or local Centers for Independent Living.
