A NOTE ABOUT SANICO
Sanico Inc. has been awarded a 5 year contract to service the Borough of Lebanon's garbage and recycling from 2025-2029.  Sanico is 
a family owned company based in Warren County, New Jersey.  We have been servicing the residents and businesses of New Jersey 
and Pennsylvania for over 50 years and we are thrilled to be adding Lebanon to our growing list of happy customers! 
WHATS NEW FOR 2025?
The Borough has decided to switch to a more modern automated method of collecting garbage and recycling.  All residents will be 
issued Sanico branded carts like the one pictured above - 1 for garbage and 1 for recycling.  These carts are mandatory as they are 
specially designed to interface with the truck.  Cardboard should be placed inside the recycling cart as much as possible, and any 
overflow can be bundled and placed next to the cart on collection day.  Carts will be delivered by the end of February, in the mean time 
continue to use your existing containers.
A NOTE ABOUT SINGLE STREAM 
Single Stream recycling means you can mix all your recyclables together in one cart.  The material is brought to a very sophisticated 
facility that sorts everything back into separate “streams” where it can be re-used to make new items.  This method of recycling is 
great because it offers households and businesses a much more convenient way to recycle.  However, in recent years the rising levels 
of “contamination” (people throwing improper items into their recycling can) has contributed to a global collapse of the recycling 
market.  WE NEED YOUR HELP!  It is imperative to abide by the recycling rules listed above.  We may be unable to pick up your 
recycling if high levels of contamination are present!  If its not on the approved list - "When in doubt, throw it out!"
